I’ve always thought that in fashion its all about VIBE. i really enjoy when designers are story tellers. they unravel a little piece of a memory or an old folk tale in every piece of their collection. a huge part of telling a story is detail. isn’t it the greatest when you read a book and they describe everything little detail, and you just sit there as you read those black and white words and you can truly feel that emotion within the text. They really set the VIBE for you just right and you can fully connect. This is what Gretchen Jones Fall/Winter 2012 collection make me feel. Key word ‘FEEl’. Because there is so much detail and there is so much there you can connect to. The atmosphere of her presentation was divine. I really wish I could have experienced it. But even through photos I could really connect to her vision. The lighting, the hair, THOSE NAILS! Its all so moving. And the clothes were empowering. 

I’ve been such a huge fan of Ms. Jones. and she had my vote from the first episode of Project Runway. And its so great to see that she is doing so well. For its so hard to come out of these shows as humble as Ms. Jones.
